HTC VIVE launches the world’s first XR somatosensory music trip, “Anpu – An Ode to Moss: Musical Wander”, and the VR work “Curious Alice” co-produced with the century-old V&A Museum in the U. K. Both works will have their offline world premiere at “Future Content Experience Zone” from November 18 to 22 in Taiwan Creative Content Fest organized by Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA). Yesterday (November 17), President of Executive Su Tseng-chang, Minister of Culture Lee Yung-te, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Lin Chuan-neng, as well as TAICCA Chairperson Ting Hsiao-ching and President Hu Ching-fang participated in the opening experience. Liu Szu-ming, the general manager of HTC VIVE ORIGINALS, explained the technologies and creative presentations of the two works. President of Executive President Su Tseng-chang gave a try by putting on a head-mounted display to experience “Curious Alice”. President Su Tseng-chang asked with a smile, “can we reach Wonderland just with VR?” He immediately transformed himself into Alice and jumped into the rabbit hole, following Mr. White Rabbit to find the missing gloves, solve the enigma about the caterpillar, visit the croquet garden of the Queen of Hearts, and go through a game with card soldiers.

HTC VIVE ORIGINALS president Liu Szu-Ming said: “HTC VIVE Arts combines VR technology and co-curates an exhibition with the century-old V&A Museum in the U.K. Combining Icelandic contemporary illustrator Kristjana Williams’ style in printmaking, and integrating fairytale IP, illustrations, virtual technologies and international collaboration, we recreate the fairytale experience in ‘Alice in Wonderland’, and create a first-person sense of existence in the fairytale. The audience can interact with the classic episodes, which brings digital art closer to the public.”
